Reverend Kevin Conley
Kevin has been an ordained Teaching Elder in the Presbyterian Church (U. S. A.) since 2001. His path to ordination began in the mountains of western North Carolina and wound through the Religion Department at Wake Forest University, Columbia Theological Seminary, and the Divinity School at Yale University.
He has spent his entire ordained ministry in North Carolian, serving both as an installed pastor and a transitional pastor at churches in Winston-Salem, Kernersville, King, Woodleaf, and Thomasville. His service to Salem Presbytery includes tenures as Moderator of the Campus Ministry Committee and the Examinations Committee.
He enjoys preaching, teaching, and providing pastoral care. He relishes opportunities for mission, particularly those involving children and hunger relief.
He is married to Bernadette Wilson Conley and they are the parents of one daughter, Kayla, and two sons, Tristen and Zachary. Kevin also serves as the dutiful servant of the family’s two cats, Maggie and Selina.
When he’s not working, parenting, or tending the cats, he likes to run and play the guitar (but not at the same time). Often, he can be found watching basketball, baseball, or soccer on television, reading about church history or theology, or adding to his collection of comic books and graphic novels.
